Dr. Fredric J. Baur, the designer of the Pringles can died on 4 May 2008 and his request was for his family to bury him in a Pringle can. Dr. Fredric J. Baur was 89 when he died and before he retired he was a food storage technician for Procter and Gamble.

I think it’s pretty cool to have your ashes to be buried in a Pringles can. There are so many things that people request for when the die. One of the things that’s really popular at the moment is cremation jewelry. Basically you have the carbon of the ashes and they get turned into diamonds. That’s just a little bit creepy for me though.
