With the lack of public transport in many areas, having your own transport can be seen as a god send. It allows you the freedom to go where you like when you like. Independence is something that we all value but don’t realize how much until it’s taken away from us.
If you want to buy a cheep scooter then you can just spend a few hundred dollars and they have the ability to carry up to 250 pounds. If you choose a three wheeler then you should know that there are many different designs available. These are great for those who have mobility problems and the two wheels at the back are designed for extra stability. You don’t have to spend a lot of money in order to buy a scooter and is light and compact but with plenty of good technology included.
One of the main reasons people buy a moped is because they are so cheap to run as well as buy and are ideal if you want to lessen your impact on the planet. They are certainly a lot kinder to the wallet than a car. There are even some scooters that can be folder up and transported in the boot of a car.
When comparing types of scooter you will see that gas and electric ones are available however the electric models are often the most easily available. They are seen as more environmentally friendly and are much less noisy and lower on pollution.
Like anything that you buy these days, there are different prices depending on what type of scooter you buy and you’ll see that there is a wide marketplace for them. So many companies are making scooters so it’s great to be able to compare them and find the cheapest possible prices. Some of the most recognisable include Honda, Aprilia, Piaggio, Suzuki and Vespa however there are even more brands than this. If you are looking to buy a cheap moped then have a look online, in your local paper and in show rooms. You have loads of choices in this department so don’t rush your purchase.
A 50cc is a good scooter if you are student or all your traveling is limited. However, if you will be doing an extended amount of driving, I would opt for a bigger scooter like a 250. They will get you faster speeds and are more durable.
