Now that American Idol season 8 has kicked off people are going crazy over the show debating who will eventually win.  Who knows who will win it’s way too early for all that talk.  However people are very interested in one particular chap by the name of Adam Lambert.  Who the heck is he and why should you care?  He’s 26 years old and the judges are all raving about him.  Maybe he might win?  Only time will tell.  Some people thik that he’s over-rated but that all comes down to personal taste.

I think Adam Lambert is actually got a pretty good voice, and beleive me, I’m hard to please.  I also think he’s pretty cute which seems to be a pre-requistit for American Idol.  In terms of his past career, he’s appeared in the LA production of Wicked.  Oh, and he was also in the stage production of The Ten Comandments.

Why do people obsess so much with these sorts of celebrities? Are they really any good and should they make their careers in a more conventional manner i.e. go through the record agencies and be spotted by talent spotters.
